V. Rare William Moorcroft Gilded Florian Art Nouveau Chalice c1903-08

  
On offer from our private collection is this very rare William Moorcroft Gilded Florian Art Nouveau Chalice. The chalice has intricately gilded tendrils and flowers with a distinctive Art Nouveau feel it features a flower and tulip design. This is a combination green/blue which maximizes the best of the enameled gilding. The range was in production from 1903 to 1908. Florian Ware mark printed in brown c.

Early incised William Moorcroft initials and blue printed pattern or shape number. Width (Handle to Handle) 5 3/4.
