This is now modern day Austria. I have a vase that is just beautiful. Rindskopf is best known on the American market by its "Grenada" line of clear glass furrowed in light green and shading to a wine red at the top.

The vase stands 7 1/8" tall and is 4 11/16" wide at the top. The foot has a diameter of 3 5/16. This vase displays a round foot that rises up to a pleated top that resembles a fan shape.

The base glass is a very pleasant and translucent light lime green. This color meets the top pleated area that has a bold red orange top section. This color is brilliant and really pops when looking at the vase. The entire vase has an. This vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks or post factory nicks, chips, or dings. The vase is not signed but it has a very nicely fire polished top lip and rough pontil.

This means the piece was blown from the top and cut with the punty rod being attached to the bottom of the vase. It was then put back in the glory hole to give it the fire polished and rolled top edge. This was typical of higher quality Art Glass as Rindskopf was competing with their American contemporaries such as Tiffany Favrile, Steuben Aurene, Durand and Quezal as well as Loetz in Europe. This type vase is often confused with Loetz or Kralik but this is a documented form and iridescence finish by Rindskopf.

The colors are just wonderful. No store lets you out of the building with the merchandise unless it is paid for. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
