RARE 1920s Gerdago JB Hirsch Bronze Pixie Reader Bookends Art Nouveau Grn Base
You are Viewing a pair of 1920's Gerdago J B Hirsch Victorian Art Nouveau/Art Deco Bronze Pixies Reading a Book on Green Marble Base Bookends. The bookends are solid bronze on a green marble base and measure slightly over 7 inches tall to the point on their hats and 7 inches long by 4 inches wide. The bronze is in excellent very detailed condition with great muscle tone, facial features, flowing clothing with the contour of the body.
The marble base shows some edge wear on the top edge of one and bottom edge of the other (see photos). They would make a great addition to any collection. Please see my other listings for more antique and collectible items and other bookends. Please ask questions if you have any!
