Luxurious Oil Slick Iridescence Ruby To Green Czech, Moser, Kralik, Loetz Gilded
That this beautiful vase was produced in what is now the Czech Republic/Bohemia is indisputable, but whether it was made by Loetz, Moser, Kralik or??? The internal colors move from the deep ruby to a light green. The original graceful Art Nouveau draped gilding is in fine condition, well placed and allied with the underlying shapes and colors. The vase has the oft seen sheared flat top and no pontil mark since it was held by the top when formed, a lovely sensuous iridescence in green and red and blue, with an overall tactile swirl texture. It measures about 10 1/4" H and 4 3/4" W. I cannot see any chips or flea bites on that top edge where the swirl formation meets the ground flat surface. 1 3/8 pounds, no maker or country marks.
