Two Green Bohemian Art Glass Vases Description and Item Information Up for sale are these two antique Bohemian art glass vases. Please excuse the glare in the photos. The squat vase has a diagonally ribbed swirl texture and a wavy rim.

It stands approximately 4 3/4 inches tall, and it has a maximum width of about 6 1/2 inches. The taller vase has a wavy texture and a ruffled rim. It stands approximately 8 5/16 inches tall, with a maximum width of about 3 3/4 inches. Both pieces have ground and polished central pontils beneath, as made. Unpacked, the two pieces together weigh 2 pounds 1.7 ounces. These pieces would be a good addition to a collection of European art glass. Identification The pieces are unsigned, antique Bohemian art glass.

Condition The vases have no chips or cracks. They have light wear beneath. I would characterize the iridescence of the squat vase as subtle and a bit patchy. The iridescence is mostly missing/worn on the lower 2/3 of the tall vase; the upper 1/3 of its exterior has rainbow iridescence, and its interior rim area has a silvery metallic luster.
