Gorgeous tri cornered green aventurine rose bowl with beautiful enameled shooting star flowers with gilt leaves and stems. A delightful little bowl that makes still makes quite a statement after all these years! It has been lovingly used as a flower vase and thus the gilt edges of the top has been worn down some by hands taking the bowl to change the water for the flowers, it does have a small production bubble in the inside bottom of the vase that has popped sometime in the past but that does not distract from the beauty of this striking vase! There is an ever so slight Variation of color in the aventurine at the very bottom of the vase but it is below the curve of the glass and does not show.
You really have to be looking for it to find it. It may even be a production flaw or it could be tied to the burst bubble, I simply do not know. I believe this bowl to have been made in the late 1800s to very early 1900s.
4 inches tall to the main rim. Close to 5 inches wide. I take great pride in packing the items I sell with great care. I have known the utter disappointment upon opening a package just to find pieces of a vase or bowl.I make it my goal to never have that happen to one of my buyers.
