FRENCH INTERNALLY RIBBED GREEN GLASS +. This listing is for the COMPLETE LAMP. Which is in excellent condition.

The French fount is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. This is a very unusual and difficult to find colour which is.

Even and strong with excellent depth and intensity. As with all ribbed glass this varies in accordance with the thickness of the glass and will show slightly differently under different light. In natural light this is a very deep/dark green. Commensurate with its age it does have a more than usual number of tiny air bubbles (size of pin prick) none of which are broken. The surface is glossy showing negligible signs of wear and/or use.

The solid brass collar has no splits, cracks, creases etc. With negligible signs of wear. The burner is in very good condition and without cracks, scratches or splits. All chimney prongs are present and uncompromised.

The wick winder moves freely and has no excess movement. There is a small dint on the vertical wall close to the threads which is not overly noticeable. This burner will take a gallery if you wish to dress this lamp with a shade. The 10 chimney is in excellent condition with no little to no signs of wear/use. The British candlestick/base is Art Nouveau and although tall is not visually dominant.

It is a heavy quality piece with negligible signs of wear. All components fit together firmly and without movement.

525 mm 20 5/8 (with chimney). 118 mm 4 5/8 (base). Please view the photos carefully as they form a major part of the description. Items which need extra attention/care antiques, glass, delicate/fragile etc.

I use recycled packaging as much as possible. Items can be collected from KYNETON 3444. If you are not in a hurry I may be able to organise collection from SUNBURY 3429.
