Curtain Antique French Art Nouveau woven drape khaki green large scale trimmed

Hello and thank you for looking. This lovely textile is trimmed on the left facing side This textile is an antique French , Art Nouveau curtain panel that dates c1900. Lovely muted tones, gorgeous large scale design!!

The colors on this textile include: muted khaki green ground , with chocolate brown and off-white threads This textile is a woven fabric, wonderful jacquard weave. The movement in the design is lovely, wonderful large scale Art Nouveau floral design! Very very rare to find a woven Art Nouveau textile in particular in such lovely condition! This panel is made from one wide width of this lovely fabric, and is hand stitched with a deep hem at the bottom. There are 8 original metal rings for hanging still hand stitched to the top of this lovely textile. The original fringe trim runs along the left facing side lovely pompom wool and cotton trim, with black, green gold and orange. This lovely panel uses an auburn toned satinized cotton backing ideal used as upholstery fabric, curtain panel, door curtain etc wonderful heavy weight fabric woven using both cotton and a heavy jute or linen thread also. MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures 108 inches long (9 feet long) and is 44 inches wide.

CONDITION: This textile is in as found, unwashed condition with storage dust. I recommend dry cleaning this textile only there is a light dusty odor to this panel that will clean beautifully LOVELY condition. The top where backing fabric has a few tiny holes near the rings once this textile is cleaned, it will be in outstanding condition.
