Circa 1901 Art Nouveau Heliosine Pottery, Amphora Style Iridescent Ceramic Vase. Example of the naturalistic Art Nouveau (aka Jugenstil) movement from early 20th century, Austria. Handles are created using a ribboning technique that wrap around the vase a swirling pattern. Tall by 3.25 in.Colors are very vibrant - I photographed this in a well-lit studio box; color are not enhanced. There is damage - the small arm in back is missing and has broken off. See Photos 3, 5, and 9. Undamaged pieces sell for hundreds and thousands of dollars. Feel free to message me with questions!
