Made in the 1900s this tea set is a very desirable and highly sought after Shelley tea for two tea set. The tea set is in immaculate condition without any cracks or flaking of the enamel highlights or or gold decorations. There is however an old repair to the handle of the teapot and a chip to the rim (see picture six) which does not show when the lid is in place.

Both of these are consistent with age and and in my opinion do not detract from the beauty of the tea set. Each individual piece is highlighted with black enamel decorations and with gold highlights around the rims and decorated with delicate pink roses. A beautiful set, true collectors item.

It is not always possible to find items of this vintage and this beautiful condition. This is a vintage SHELLEY tea for two set. The tea set is glazed with green enamel glaze and further embellished with gold line around the rims. This is a lovely set bears the full SHELLEY mark and it is highly collectable.
